responding to peers blog

In responce to because i said so's blog question of what did i learn from my paper. Well i learned a lot even after 24 years of dealing with my own ADHD children i still found things i diden't know some of them disturbing, some really made me think that's why my child does this. the real eye opener was that my daughter fit almost every symptom they listed every problem i could say thats her some things she does i did not even know was a symptom of ADHD so now i see the whole picture this paper has been very enlightining.

peer reviews

How do i feel about peer reviews well i like them i'm always glad to have anothers opinion as to what i can do to make my paper better. I also like to help others do the same and i hope i never insult anybody or make them upset. My Ah Ha moment was writing my second paper and seeing i must have learned something from compI because this one looks better.

Writting process

The writing process is difficult for me being out of school for 30 years i have forgotten most of all i learned so for me it's like starting over. I am slowly getting it all together in my brain i do remember what i learned in comp I 'm sure this will help. how school has influenced me is all positive i love it and wish I'd done it years ago it is not as hard as i thought it would be

Why do we cite?

We cite because we show the respect that we would like others to show us and because taking credit for someone elses work is just plain cheating. If sombody did this to me i would be very upset and i would tell them you are welcome to use my work but please give me credit for all the hard work i did. The most famolus plagiarism i can remember is a book author who's book was featured on Oprah's book club i think it was about his childhood and it was later found out some of it was made up so some of his book was a lie.
